Description
CURT electrical connectors are designed to give you a reliable connection every time you plug in your trailer. This dual-output connector is designed to be a perfect OEM replacement, plugging into a USCAR socket and supplying power for tail lights, turn signals, electric trailer brakes, a 12-volt battery, reverse lights and brake lights, as well as a ground connection. It is intended to be a replacement trailer connector, plugging into a standard USCAR socket and providing a 4-way flat and 7-way RV blade socket (see application info to verify fitment with your vehicle). It features rust-free black plastic construction and comes with spring-loaded covers to keep out dust and water.

This works great on my 2006 F150 Lariat! I did have to purchase a connector to fit my truck (less than $20 on amazon) but after that it plugged right in, no hard wiring required. I did have to zip tie it underneath my dash due to the steep slant, but it has been working fine.

Yes, its a snap hook
I needed to buy something to push my purchase past the "free shipping" mark. This happened to be my selection. I can always use another snap hook, so why not? Yes, its rated at 5000# - WOW - this is heavy duty! I just might pick up a second one!
