2023 Lariat - XK
For the most part
‘23 Lariart has a tailgate hinge on the surface under the tailgate. Can’t be installed as shown in video. I mounted it on the tailgate surface at the bottom. Works fine and looks good. Wires out of trailer plug need silicone around them and I applied some Loctite super glue to each end of bar as they showed signs of not sticking to very slightly curved surface. All good otherwise.

XK Glow 60 inch tailgate light bar
I tow a 2024 f150 behind my motor home I used the XK 60 tailgate light bar for my tow lights on the back of my F150 it works great looks great. The sequential turn signal really stands out. And I didn’t have to tap in to the trucks wiring anywhere. As simple as wiring trailer lights

Nondescript DRLs Just the way I like em.
Took a chance with these XKs over the Putcos because of the size and pricing. I was honestly surprised it came in a set of TWO as I was only expecting one bar. The lights are awesome with the extra visibility it provides when driving around. The street up graphic is not at all splashy (which is what I wanted). Only call out is I wish the color temperature was more pure white to better match the Sierra’s DRLs. The XK white has a slight blueish hint to them. NOTE: I have mine hooked up to an aux box with my other lighting projects so I manually turn these on when needed. I did not connect the lights to the turn signals as the new Sierras/Silverados were designed to blow-up with an expensive trip to the stealership as soon as a novice DYI’er starts to mess with the electrical.

Talk about Bright !
I used the brackets to install. Drilled for the screws but found the tail gate edge would touch and could have damaged the light. Moved the brackets down just a smidge to clear the tail gate edge. Be careful here as you can easily damage the light bar if your not paying close attention. Taping into the trailer wiring was no problem. Don't just match colors test with a test light and fallow instructions. I ran the power wire in a split loom to the inline weather proof fuse near the battery. All works as described. I would suggest this product to anyone. Have it professionally installed. I am a retired ASE master tech so install was fun for me.

Looks sweet but of an install challenge
I finally had to have the light installed at an experienced shop. The install mount needed to be evaluated because one side of my truck had a frame mounting bracket. This being said they had to decide an alternative. Looks great now and lots of positive comments.
