Hi, it's Noah with AmericanTrucks. Today we're going to check out these long tube headers with the Y-pipe in stainless steel fitting the 2007 to 2014 Tahoe. If you're looking to get some better sound and exhaust flow out of your Tahoe, then these headers are a great addition to make to your build. Factory exhaust manifolds can be restrictive, they're ugly, they don't sound wonderful, and a lot of times on Chevy V8s they're weak and they can crack. One of the best ways to ditch those stock crusty manifolds is to slap a set of headers on that V8 and send it on its way. These guys, most importantly maybe, they're shiny, they'll improve the sound of your Tahoe pretty significantly, and ultimately they're going to increase the exhaust gas flow, resulting in a little bit more power. It's not uncommon to see some decent horsepower and torque gains after installing a nice set of headers. One really great thing about these headers, as opposed to lots of other sets, is the fact that they are long tubes rather than shorties, and they have a Y-pipe included so that they already come out of the box routing to the right position to mate to your existing exhaust system. They actually already have flanges installed, so there's no welding required either. All of these things considered, this is a really solid choice in the realm of headers for your Tahoe.Headers are put under a lot of stress, and they go through tons and tons of heat cycles, meaning that they heat up red hot and cool down over and over again their whole life. That kind of abuse can make weak metal crack, so headers need to be made from something super durable. Everything here is made from T304 stainless steel, which is the most durable material they make headers for your Tahoe out of. The welds on these look pretty outstanding. The flanges are really thick and they look well-machined as well, and as a whole, these guys are pretty beefy, exactly how a header should be, and these are 2-inch primaries. This set of headers comes in around the $360 price point. For a full set of long tube 304 headers, with all the flanges and a Y-pipe, that's a really decent price. This is going to be a one-stop shop header upgrade that doesn't even put a dent in the wallet compared to lots of other options. You're looking at an install difficulty of two out of three wrenches and an hour install time. But doing a set of headers can be very straightforward and not time-consuming if everything goes well. Unfortunately, a lot of times exhaust manifold bolts that are in the heads already like to break coming out, and if that happens, it has the potential to take longer and kind of derail the job. Now, luckily, this header kit comes with all-new hardware, but maybe you should get a can of penetrating spray of some kind, and soak the ones on the motor currently down before you remove them if you live in a rust belt area. If you're worried about getting them installed, pretty much any professional shop can handle this kind of job, so don't be afraid to leave it to the professionals, and there's no shame in that at all. Those were the long tube headers with the Y-pipe in stainless steel fitting the 2007 to 2014 Tahoe. For all things Tahoe, keep it right here at americantrucks.com.

Perfect fit and great quality
These were shipped pretty quick. Aside from that these looked great but more importantly the kit went together flawlessly. 10/10 recommended for your best bang for your buck. Quality, fitments and overall service was great with no hassle to me.

Good Fit
These Fit extremely well especially for the Price Point. Bolted up and worked just like they should. I welded the crossover pipe instead of using the supplied Clamp, and It welded great. I Have another Silverado that needs cats as well. I will Purchase this set for it as well.

great for the price
This exhaust sounds amazing, it has a deep idle and is super loud when you hit the gas. The only thing that wasn't great was the fitment. I had to cut off some of the piping because it wasn't in the exhaust hangers all the way. I had to cut about 2-3 inches on both of the pipes coming out of the muffler. Other than that it was great for the price and very much worth it

Dinamight
I installed this kit (Fr150-5.0) on a 2018 F-150 3.0 POWERSTROKE Diesel cause they don,t make a duel exhaust system for it. Thanks to F J B , that he killed the production line in Detroit to make those F***** Lightings. Ford only produced the 3.0 on the Detroit line. With only 3 years of limited production after market wouldn’t make a kit for it so I enfromisd this kit to my 150 POWERSTROKE. !!!!

Sounds perfect
Idling and driving under 1k rpm it's as quiet as stock. However as soon as you start it or go over 1k rpm it has a low grumble and not super loud but loud enough to make a difference.

converter
The Y-pipe actually fit my vehicle, it took about almost 2 days to have it installed by me. and I had to have someone do the welding in the middle of the pipe. Otherwise, it fits perfectly.

2019 F150 5.0 V8
While for the price point it is good and does sound good, there were some fitment issues towards the back near the spare tire.

Discount Performance!
I went from an OEM exhaust to to this one. There were really no reviews or anything for but it sounds awesome. It's worth it in my opinion if you don't have a 89k ride to justify a 1500 exhaust.

Great price!! Went together easily…
The price was awesome!! I did it in my driveway from start to finish was three hours only because I had to run to the parts store and grab some 2 1/2 clamps for the tailpipes for the stainless tips that was about the only thing I was unhappy about. Other than that it sounds awesome!!
