    Description

    Keep Your Truck Running Right. The RAM 2500 MAP sensor is located in the intake manifold and it measures the air pressure inside the manifold. When the throttle is open, the MAP sensor sends a signal to the computer telling it to send more fuel into the engine. When the throttle is closed, the MAP sensor sends a signal to the computer telling it to reduce the amount of fuel going into the engine. This helps to ensure that your RAM’s 2500 engine is running smoothly and efficiently.

    Made To OEM Specifications. Each RAM 2500 MAP sensor is made of durable plastic and it's designed to withstand the high temperatures and vibrations that occur in the engine. It's connected to the throttle body by a metal tube and it has a small metal disk on it that rotates as the throttle opens and closes. This disk sends a signal to the computer that tells it how much fuel to send into the engine. It is made to meet or exceed factory specs and fully tested before being shipped out.

    Perfect For DIY Enthusiasts. If you're a DIY kind of person, then you can install the MAP sensor on your own. Firstly, park your truck on a level surface and open the hood. Secondly, locate the MAP sensor on the intake manifold remove the old MAP sensor. Thirdly, replace it with the new one. Lastly, reconnect the wiring and you're off to the races.

    Constant Accurate Reading. A new O-ring is included with each RAM 2500 MAP Sensor. Additionally, each MAP sensor features a leak-free seal that prevents air from entering the sensor and causing inaccurate readings. This seal is important because it helps to ensure that the MAP sensor is providing accurate information to the computer.
