Semi-Metallic Friction Compound. Providing these rear parking brake shoes with their signature stopping power is a specially formulated semi-metallic friction compound. This friction compound is also fully asbestos- and copper-free, making the parking brake shoes environmentally safe. Furthermore, this friction compound is bonded to a machine-formed solid steel backing plate, giving your parking brakes a substantial feel when engaged. Rounding out its construction is a protective black powder coating to prevent rust and corrosion.

I recently did a lot of performance work to my F250 and needed performance brakes, these went on without any issues, and to say they stop you extremely well is an understatement, took me a couple days to get use to the sensitivity of them. I’ve had them a couple months and little to no brake dust. Definitely recommend

Awesome brakes
These brakes and rotors are amazing. My girlfriend and I do a lot of traveling with our 5th wheel camper. These rotors don’t heat up as much as the standard factory Ford ones. Stopping distance is still great too. No complaints. I will buy these again.
