The shoulder grooves and stone ejectors keep the tires clean, while providing improved traction for off-road adventures. The variable pitch tread pattern establishes a smooth quiet ride on the highway and facilitates even tread wear.
New Thinking from Nitto. The Ridge Grappler includes a variable pitch tread pattern. This prevents the harmonic resonance associated with highway-speed hum. Shoulder and lateral Z-Grooves help clear mud and improve traction. Alternating tapered edges provide increased bite and traction, especially in aired-down situations.
