Description
Maintain an Optimally Running Engine. Keep your Yukon’s engine running optimally with the J&L V3.0 Driver Side Satin Oil Separator. This oil separator is designed to trap and collect the vaporized oil that is inadvertently vented back into your intake by your truck’s positive crankcase ventilator (PCV) valving system. This oil separator prevents the build-up of engine sludge, which can dilute your gasoline, lowering its octane rating, ultimately affecting engine performance.
Unique Design. The J&L V3.0 Driver Side Black Oil Separator features a unique filtration system consisting of a fine stainless steel mesh and an aluminum honeycomb filter. The stainless steel mesh traps oil vapors and releases them once oil gets too heavy. The oil then proceeds to the honeycomb aluminum filter where it further condenses until it settles to the bottom of the catch can. The oil separator’s catch can comes with a 3-ounce capacity, requiring emptying every 3,000 miles or so.
Solid Aluminum Build Quality. The J&L V3.0 Driver Side Satin Oil Separator is crafted from solid billet aluminum, wherein it’s CNC-milled, resulting in a strong 1-piece component. This oil separator includes an O-ring to prevent leaks, while a knurled base makes opening the can easier, even when surfaces are oily. Finally, this oil separator is finished in natural satin for a sleek look.
Simple, No-Mod Installation. The J&L V3.0 Driver Side Satin Oil Separator installs directly on preexisting locations in your Yukon. This separator uses hoses that have a push-lock system that secures without the need for clamps. Standard hand tools are all you need for installation, and no modifications are required.
Includes a 1-Year Limited Warranty. The J&L V3.0 Driver Side Satin Oil Separator includes a 1-year limited warranty covering workmanship defects. Please visit the manufacturer’s website for more details.
Not CARB-Certified. The J&L V3.0 Driver Side Satin Oil Separator is not CARB-certified at this time. Installation or use of this product is illegal in California and other states that have adopted CARB standards. Please check local regulations for allowed applications of this product.
