      Lowered my 2017 Yukon XL

Greatt kit easy to install, if you have a strut spring compressor. The tricky part was getting the front height set where I wanted it so it was leveled. Definitely helps to have an extra set of hands. It's even easier if you have bigger aftermarket wheels like 19s then there's less cutting.

      Nice product

With 7.5 rear and 3.5 front, the front will be about 2” taller than the rear. I customized mine and lowered the front another 2” which gave it a great stance.

      RIDES BETTER THAN A PLATINUM

THIS KIT IS AMAZING. I wanted a kit that got great stance looks good but most important rides great. the install can be completed in a full day id the tools are laid out and you don't cut up and carry on the quality is a great feature the shocks are a great replacement you don't have to cut the springs and they go straight in. Now the flip kit is kinda a pain in the rear but bell tech sends the replacement bolts and nuts to replace the ones you have to cut by your gas tank and your muffler and you have to cut your stock exhaust so its not in the way of the leaf springs. im going to be doing a 1500 mile review of this kit on my YouTube channel Taco_Media.

      Rides better than factory

Super straightforward install. I did find an easier way to put front springs in on YouTube than the included instructions. Install took me a lot longer due to frozen shackle bolts but that was no fault of the kit.

You’ll Work to Install the Rear Lowering Kit on a 2024 RAM 1500

I bought the Belltech Lowering Kit w/o the front struts. This kit is supposed to fit a 2024 RAM 1500. Belltech admitted they have never installed the kit on a 2024 and it shows. The front 2” drop spindles are the way to go. They keep the OEM front suspension geometry and install nicely. With the OEM 5 spoke, 20” wheels you will need to use the short lower ball joint nuts, grind off the excess stud and possibly grind the lower corners of the spindles for some additional wheel clearance. The rear trailing arm relocation brackets all need to be modified to fit. All 6 of the brackets have holes that do not align with the holes in the axle brackets. The upper trailing arm brackets have a 1/8” thick washer welded to the inside of the bracket that need to be ground off for the trailing arms to fit. This took 6 hours with a hand grinder. All the misaligned holes are about half a diameter off. Most of the holes can be slotted. But the misaligned support bracket holes will need to be plugged so you can drill the 11/16” holes in the right place. Once all the brackets are modified and installed you can install the springs. But NOT the ones that come with the kit. If used, the top 6 coils of kit springs collapse on them selves (coil bind) and act like a solid spacer. The rear ride feels like a hardtail. I substitute Max Trac 2” rear drop springs. The ride quality with these springs is almost as good as the front ride quality with the OEM front struts. Would I do it again? Probably. The Belltech dropped spindles and the rear brackets to relocate the trailing arm keep the OEM suspension geometry and the Max Trac springs approach the OEM ride quality. But it’s a lot of work and I had a 2 post hoist to use.

      A Job For The Experienced

The items in the kit were good quality and fit as should be. My mechanic had my truck up on the lift. The front end parts went on without a hitch. The new springs caused the camber to be off so it’s off to the alignment rack. Now the rear end was a whole different procedure. The pickup bed had to be raised and the gas tank lowered. This had to be done to relocate the spring hangers. To remove the hangers, a torch was used to remove the old hanger frame rivets and to remove the old bump-stop mounts from the frame. The drivers side proved to be the more difficult side. We used the passenger side as a learning tool to help guide us with the drivers side. The instructions were not very helpful and that’s why you need to start with an experienced mechanic! The experience was needed to figure out exactly where the spring mounts had to be relocated on the frame to work correctly. All in all, the truck drives excellent and the only thing left to deal with is the trailer hitch.
