Description
Volant Air Filter Box. Engine efficiency determines the on-road performance of a car. Using a Cross-Link polyethylene box, Volant PowerCore Closed Box Cold Air Intake produces the ideal blend of airflow and filters particles such as moisture, heat, dust, and debris from reaching the engine, and hence maximizing on horsepower and fuel efficiency.
Volant Air Duct. Volant PowerCore closed Box Cold Air Intakes comes with mass flow sensor which maximizes airflow velocity and throttle body that takes energy production to new levels. Cross-Link polyethylene air ducts are designed to allow the engine breathe freely. By incorporating large diameters, your car has sufficient air supply whether it’s idle or in full throttle.
Advanced PowerCore Filtration Technology. Volant PowerCore Closed Box Cold Air Intake uses the most advanced form of PowerCore Filtration Technology from Donaldson. PowerCore Filtration Technology is unique and made from durable synthetics that last longer than the conventional pleated filters. It has good dust encapsulation system with a 99.97% filtration properties and increased dust holding capacity. The filters are water resistant and need neither oiling nor maintenance. These filters give your insane engine performance in the 100,000-mile mark as it did in 1 mile.
High-Performance-Silicone Connectors. They provide flexibility while maintaining thermal stability and tensile strength. Volant silicon hoses meet or exceed SAEJ20 standards.
Stainless Steel Clamps. Volant clamps are resistant to corrosion. The marine-grade stainless steel clamps are durable and provide robust seals no matter how often you use your car.
Warranty. Filters have a 4-year or 100,000 miles warranty for urban settings.

This was a nice little upgrade for the money. Adds a lot of growl to the sound of the engine making it breath much better. Haven’t noticed much difference in fuel efficiency but I’d say worth the money from looks and sound alone

'06 SCSB Silverado CAI Blues
Looks? Great! Performance gains? Maybe a little. Mounting? Only one-hole lines up. You get to drill the rest. Quality? Okay. It looks better than it fits. The plastic seams on the tube, keep it from sealing great at the TB. Conclusion? Too expensive for the work required to make it fit good.
