Support Your RAM’s Steering Gear Box Sector Shaft. Your RAM 2500’s factory steering gearbox is highly prone to wear and tear; however, this is not due to any design fault of its own. The actual issue lies in the lack of support, allowing the steering gear sector shaft to move and deflect during steering, which leads to excessive internal seal and gear wear. Synergy’s Steering Box Brace addresses this lack of support by adding a stout bearing to the end of the steering sector shaft, tying it to both frame rails to prevent excess movement. This support helps to keep the frame rigid, reduce deflection, and prolong the life of your factory steering box.  

Improves Steering Feeling. This product also helps to rid your RAM of its loose, numb steering feel by reducing the amount that the steering box flexes during steering. By reducing movement at the box, all steering input is distributed to the steering linkage rather than absorbed by the deflecting box. The result is far better and more direct steering, making piloting your ¾-ton RAM a joy. 

Durable Construction. This steering box brace is manufactured from premium materials, including a durable ¼-Inch steel plate, 2.0-Inch x .120-Wall square tubing, and a heavy-duty central bearing for exceptional strength. 

Corrosion-Resistant Finish. This product features a black powder-coat finish for exceptional corrosion resistance, guarding the underlying steel against oxidation and rust due to chips, abrasions, oil, and chemicals. 

Warranty. A limited lifetime warranty covers this product against manufacturing defects. 

Application. This Synergy Steering Box Brace fits 2009-2018 RAM 2500 4WD models. Does not fit Dodge Ram Power Wagons.
