This twin-tube shock absorber combines a pressurized nitrogen gas charge with velocity sensitive valving technology to deliver just the right amount of damping for the terrain you’re on, and the speed you’re traveling. In real-world terms, this translates to excellent performance when driven hard, and a smooth ride when cruising.
High-Grade Dust Boot. The SkyJacker Nitro 8000 Front Shock Absorber comes with a dust boot manufactured from high-grade polyurethane. This dust boot effectively prevents dust and other contaminants from damaging your shock. Furthermore, its polyurethane construction is sturdier than a comparable rubber boot, ensuring long life. Also, its red color gives your suspension area a stylish look.
Wear-Resistant Build Quality. This front shock's body is constructed from high-grade alloy for superior durability. Meanwhile, its hard chromed piston rod is designed to offer impact damage resistance against common hazards like rocks and pebbles. Finally, this shock absorber is finished in a durable white powder coating for ideal rust protection.
