This design provides an extremely secure stepping surface that also allows mud and debris to fall through the boards, preventing these from getting tracked into your cab. What’s more, these boards also offer your rocker panels additional impact protection thanks to their heavy-duty construction.
Heavy-Duty Build Quality. These running board assemblies are manufactured from high-quality aluminum alloy, making them strong, corrosion-resistant, and relatively lightweight. Furthermore, these running boards are machine-formed and include thermoplastic end caps to give them a finished look and added impact protection. Finally, these boards are finished in a wear-resistant textured black powder coating for sleek style and added corrosion protection.
Efficient Install Procedure. These SlimGrip series running boards include vehicle-specific mounting brackets designed to install into factory locations on your truck’s underside. No additional modifications are necessary, although you will need to install the included end caps onto the boards using the included self-tapping screws. Other than this step, installation is a fairly efficient procedure that’s completed using just standard hand tools.
