Description
Description. When you start and end your day turning the ignition of your truck, unreliable footing just is not an option. You need a step that can bear weight with ease, provide comfortable footing and look good doing it. ARIES 4" oval side bars are sleek, strong and custom-fitted to be a highly functional extension of your truck. For a variety of makes and models, 4" oval sides are a step up. ARIES 4" oval side bars are made with strong 4" elliptical tubing and are available in two different finish options to allow you full customization: polished stainless steel and black powder coat carbon steel. This set of side bars is constructed from high-strength carbon steel for a solid step, and they feature a dual-layer E-coat and semi-gloss black powder coat finish for excellent protection against scratching, chipping and peeling. Something that sets the ARIES 4" oval side bar apart from all others is its blended end caps and OE-style bends. Rather than capping our side bars with a plastic cap, we offer a blended end cap for a smooth, finished appearance. We also equip the ends with a special 20-degree bend and original equipment styling to perfectly contour to your vehicle. ARIES 4" oval side bars are fitted with raised step pads to provide a wide stepping surface. The polypropylene construction will not crack over time, and because it has a textured grip, the surface is highly resistant to slips and skids, even when wet. To add an extra element of class to our oval sides, we also fit each one with a stainless steel insignia bearing the ARIES name. Installation of ARIES 4" oval side bars is quick and easy with custom-fitted mounting brackets and no drilling necessary.

I’m satisfied
It’s a solid brush guard. Pretty easy to install. Also pretty easy to do it with just one person. Took about 1.5 hours, but I’m slow and meticulous. All in all I would buy it again.

Great Replacement Running Boards
Got these running boards to replace the stock OEM Ford ones off my truck. These have a very clean, but mean aesthetic. The best thing about these steps, and the reason I went for them, is they actually have great grip. Very tacky and grippy material is used that makes stepping up on them in the wet/snow, they aren't slippery at all like the OEM ones.

Challenging Install
It was challenging to install as I did it by myself. In the end while installing the two smaller brackets, It does require two people to do so, one with small hands and long arms when installing on the 2020 Ford Ranger.

Look and fit well
These fit my 2018 Ford F-150 XL pretty well. They were easy to install. I think it took about 2 hours to install them. I was also pleased with the appearance. The paint could have been slightly better and the hardware could have been slightly better but compared to other accessories I bought, I'm happy.

Extremely happy with the fit and finish of the AdvantEdge Carbide Black Side-Step Bars!! Everything fit perfectly and installation was a breeze after viewing install video for my F-150. Rugged and practical... LOVE the 8-sided tubular design and mesh step grates!!
