No ECU Re-Tuning Required. No ECU re-tuning is required for your truck to take advantage of this cold air intake’s performance advancements. That said, providing our ECU with a re-tune down the line will always be beneficial for your truck. This is because a re-tune can maximize the potential of this intake.
Extendable Disposable Dry Air Filter. This cold air intake includes a disposable dry air filter, making sure your engine receives only contaminant-free air. This is accomplished by a filter medium capable of 99.2% filtration efficiency without compromising airflow. More significantly while this filter is disposable, it also features a specialized extendable design, allowing you to remove accumulated dirt using pressurized air to increase its service life.
