This means they're compatible with several third-party 5th wheel hitches in addition to several of CURT's own models. These rails provide a solid foundation for your wheel hitch, ensuring anything you tow stays safe and secure.

Industry-Leading Construction. The RAM 2500 Universal 5th Wheel Base Rails are made using tough and rigid steel, meaning they have the strength needed to support your hitch. To confirm this, CURT puts them through testing to ensure they meet the SAE's J2638 specifications. The rails come with a pair of coatings. A liquid A-Coat is applied to guard against rust while the carbide black powder-coating looks amazing and prevents corrosion.

Direct Installation. These rails install directly to most vehicles, though some adaptation may be required. The brackets, instructions, and hardware needed for installation are all sold separately. They mount using zinc-plated bolts.

Multiple Warranties. CURT covers these rails with a limited lifetime warranty that guarantees there'll be no factory defects in the structure. This is supplemented with a pair of 1-year warranties to cover the powder-coating and parts used in the rails. All warranties are non-transferable and have some exclusions.

Application. The RAM 2500 Universal 5th Wheel Base Rails are designed for universal vehicle fitment. They're compatible with most CURT 5th wheel hitches.
