Need Bars- well worth it!
The purpose was to install these for my wife and daughter. They are both below average height and it worked like a charm. The most rear step allows me to reach into the bed much easier. Install was fairly straight forward.

Feels solid. Pretty easy to install if you have the tools required took me about an hour to complete. Havent run it long enough to comment on durability or function at the moment.

Looks good, can be installed with ease, and on my 2500, minor modification. However, it had no directions. Did find some online but if you review enough pictures you can install it.

Great rugged looks
These were just what we were looking for! I personally hate the round/oval style running boards, wanted a flat step for more stability since we are a bit older, these checked all our boxes, makes it so much easier to get in and out of the truck. The installation was a breeze, our truck did not have the factory installed rivnuts so I had to install them myself, the directions were ok for this step but I found that by placing a washer on the bolt head before inserting it through the step bracket and also between the step bracket and rivnut, made for a much easier and cleaner install. Once the anchors were installed it only took about an hour to install and adjust for fit. Buy these, you wont regret it at all.

I'm 70 years old. I installed this grill myself. Installation instructions were vague and not real good. If you don't have any mechanical ability then don't try to install this yourself.
