Description
Outstanding Rear Visibility. Provide your RAM 2500 with outstanding visibility at the rear with the FullVUE Rear Camera Mirror System. This system will substitute your rearview mirror with a high-resolution touchscreen monitor and rear camera to greatly improve rear visibility. In doing so, this system gives you the benefit of an always-on backup camera without the need to upgrade to a touchscreen stereo unit. Furthermore, this system keeps its standard mirror function, enabling its use when necessary.
Unique Design. This system features a rear camera mirror that looks just like a standard 9.66-inch rearview mirror but works like an HD touchscreen monitor. This screen comes with a 1,980 x 320 resolution, enabling it to make the most of the included 30 FPS, 1080p resolution rear camera. Once activated, this camera and screen provide a 170-free horizontal field of view to eliminate any blind spots from the rear. Likewise, this camera mirror includes a unique scrolling function designed to give you a 150-degree vertical field of view. This feature enables you to monitor virtually the entirety of your truck bed. Additionally, the camera mirror comes with a built-in 25 FPS, 1080p front-facing recording camera with a G-shock sensor that automatically records when it senses an impact. This translates to added security when out on the road.
Resilient Build Quality. The camera mirror uses a tempered glass screen for resistance to scratches and impact. The housing on the other hand is molded from resilient automotive-grade plastic which also offers resistance to deterioration and cracking over time. The housing and screen are then fully sealed for a clean OE-style look.
No Nonsense Install Procedure. The camera mirror component of this system works as a direct replacement for your factory mirror without the need for modifications. That said, you will need to perform some wiring work to integrate this system with your truck. Minor drilling may also be necessary to securely mount the included rear camera in certain instances. Please note that this system will only work with the included rear camera.
Application. The FullVUE Rear Camera Mirror System fits all RAM 2500 models.
