Nice option for obstructed view.
This mirror is really nice and looks to be built well. From an installation standard, it's almost plug and play for RAM trucks. Be sure to purchase a Brandmotion D-Tab adapter for seamless installation. The mirror records front and back. In the off position, this mirror provides a reflective surface emulating original mirrors, a great feature for screen glare and time of day. My one gripe, the LCD screen sometimes feels dim, despite being on the brightest setting. This issue and the D-Tab separate purchase requirement is why it lost a review star. Installed on a 2019 RAM 2500 Laramie. Used for unobstructed view around an RSI Smartcap/loaded bed.

Not for 2019 ram 1500
I was really sad to learn that this rear view camera isn’t available for my truck..I couldn’t remove the factory rear mirror because of the safety features the 2019 ram 1500 have such as lane departures and crash detection.

Not plug and play
The product works well however there are a few buts that you may be aware of. First the wiring harness did not match the harness that the OEM camera plugged in to. I contacted the manufacturer and was instructed to file down part of the trucks harness in order to plug in the new camera. This worked but I would see how someone would not feel comfortable doing this mod. Once plugged in the image was backwards. I contacted the manufacturer again and was instructed to cut and tape off one of the wires connected to the camera. Again someone may not feel comfortable doing that. The wire harness is also way too long. It's like 12 feet long and doesn't even need to be 3 feet long. The result is the coil of extra wire zipped tied up near the spare tire. The camera does work well after dealing with these modifications and the image quality to my eye matches OEM.

minor modifications required
Pretty simple to install. The third grommet was a pain to install over the rca fortunately the kit came with some lube. The other two grommets were glued and taped to the harness and in the wrong spot. So it took some pealing apart to relocate to a spot that where the camera connector would reach in the tailgate. Also higher resolution would have been nice but it’s a backup camera. Otherwise no complaints.

Now I can see!
Just had my aftermarket rearview camera kit installed over the weekend, total upgrade to my 2010 Silverado, HD view, it's view is very clear, if your considering getting one I highly recommend it, only thing didn't have the safety sensor sound if your to close to an object, but don't let that discourage you from buying one, still a awesome choice

Easy But
Works fine easy install hard to find there instructions.My issues are the cable that goes to the connector is like 15 feet long when I need only 5 feet.I mention this because its a pain trying to hide 10 feet of cable in a semi-permanent way. The other Big issue is they should add another connector so you don't have to plug and unplug,at present when you remove the tailgate the cable is removed and you plug in the license plate cable if there was two connectors you cut down on the plugging..
