      Description

      Transmission Maintenance. If the oil in your transmission is old or contaminated, it can cause problems with your transmission and filter. Over time, the transmission filter will eventually become worn and need replacing. If the transmission filter on your Dodge 2500 needs replacing, Crown Automotive has a factory-style Automatic Transmission Filter that will do the trick.

      First Class Replacement. Crown has engineered its transmission filter to OEM specifications; therefore, it will fit and function just like the factory unit. This part is made from stainless steel, rubber, and plastic. Its construction will provide strength and service for years to come.

      Bolt-On Installation. Crown’s replacement part affords a straightforward installation. It will replace the existing filter and fit securely into the factory mount points with nuts and bolts.

      12-Month Or 12,000-Mile Warranty. Crown backs this transmission filter with 12 months or 12,000 miles of warranty against material defects and workmanship – with ordinary use. Otherwise, Crown will repair or replace the part. The warranty will not cover failures resulting from improper installation, neglect, or incorrect maintenance. Other exclusions may apply, so please refer to the manufacturer’s website to know more about the warranty.

      Application. This Automatic Transmission Filter is compatible with 2003-2011 Dodge RAM 2500 models and RAM 2500 models built between 2012-2013.

      Installation Difficulty. Installing the transmission filter will require some basic mechanical skills. It is a suitable DIY project that you can complete using common tools. Depending on your experience, it may take up to 2 hours.
