2019-2025 Dodge Ram 1500 Light Bars & Off-Road Lighting

2019-2025 Dodge Ram 1500 Light Bars & Off-Road Lighting

We've all been there — you're out there on the trail, tearing up some mud when you see the light beginning to fade. It's often with a bit of sadness that we realize it's time to pack it up and head home. But why end the off-roading fun when you don't have to? With 2019-2023 Dodge RAM 1500 auxiliary & off-road lighting solutions from American Trucks, you can flip a switch and keep tearing up the trail to your heart's content. The same goes for getting the job done — you're at the worksite with a deadline and the sun goes down, leaving you with no light to work by. When your RAM is equipped with a flood beam, that's never a problem; just fire up that bad boy and finish the day out strong. We carry an extensive selection of Dodge RAM 1500 light bars. So many, in fact, that it can be overwhelming to decide which one to get. Let's break down some of the styles, options and extra features you'll find here. The most important consideration for upgrading the lighting on your rig is beam type. Flood beams give you a wide area of illumination that's incredibly bright but doesn't reach very far, which is ideal for all-around lighting. Spot beams are the exact opposite; they cut through the darkness with a narrow beam but can reach really far down the trail. Whereas flood beams cast light between 40 and 120 degrees in width, a spot beam focuses that illumination to a tight 10 to 30 degrees. Driving beams are meant to complement your headlights, casting the same style of beam but doing it brighter and farther than your stock setup. Driving beams are typically designed to comply with all ECE and SAE regulations, meaning you can use them on highways and roads. Fog beams shoot light across your path in a downward angle, giving you great trail visibility, even in conditions where snow, sleet, rain or dust are present. Many off-roaders also like to use fog lights in clear conditions because they work great for seeing where you're going when you're cornering. Combo beams give you the best of both worlds, combining two or more beam angles in one, either working simultaneously or on a switch that gives you toggle controls. Our light bars are available in a wide range of sizes, from cubes as small as two inches across to massive bars that span up to 50 inches. Generally, the longer the light bar, the more bulbs you'll get, which translates to more lighting power. Lighting power is measured in lumens — the higher the number, the more illumination. Bulbs run the gamut from LED to HID and halogen. Halogen bulbs are cheaper, easy to replace and dimmable, but they don't last as long and they can run hot. HID bulbs offer brighter light, a longer lifespan, better efficiency and less power consumption than a halogen bulb, but they are more expensive. LED bulbs are compact, bright, energy efficient and not prone to glare, but they can also be pricier and perform worse than other bulbs in inclement weather. If you go off-roading in bad weather often, your best bet is an amber light bar. The frequency that amber light bars give off doesn't reflect off of tiny particles in dust, snow, sand or rain, giving you incredible visibility and reduced glare. For a sleeker look and better aerodynamics, we stock low-profile light bars as well. These slim models mount to your RAM 1500 inconspicuously and even come with flush mounting options. And, to keep your light bar running like a charm, we carry a range of accessories including replacement bulbs, noise cancelling wind diffusers, stone guards, security devices and, of course, all the custom mounting hardware you could ever need. As always, everything we sell ships for free if it's over $75 and we back it all with a 30-day return policy and helpful customer service.
