Monitor Your RAM’s Exhaust Gas Temperature. In a forced induction application such as your RAM 2500 6.7 Turbo Diesel, monitoring the temperature of your RAM’s exhaust gasses is essential to maintaining a healthy and efficient engine. Sustained exposure to high exhaust gas temperatures can cause damage to multiple components of your RAM’s drivetrain, including the cylinder wall of the engine and the turbocharger, leading to expensive repairs down the road. For added insurance, this RAM 2500 Exhaust Gauge Temperature probe can be installed into the exhaust stream, pre-turbo, to accurately measure the exhaust gas temperature as it exits the cylinder head.

6-Foot Braided Stainless Steel Lead. This probe comes with a formidable, 6-foot long braided stainless steel lead for durability and mounting location variability. The 6-foot lead provides ample length to run the probe through the firewall and into the cab. In contrast, the brained stainless steel construction provides a corrosion-resistant sheath to guard the probe’s important sensor wires that provide an accurate temperature reading signal.

⅛-Inch NPT Fitting. This EGT probe comes with a standard ⅛-NPT threaded sending unit for use in most applications.

Direct Compatibility With Prosport’s EGT Gauge. For ease of installation, this ProSport EGT probe includes a wiring pigtail that’s directly compatible with ProSport’s high-quality EGT gauge. With ProSport, all wiring is streamlined and straightforward.
