      Extreme Performance Filtration. The PPE MicroPure Extreme Performance Engine Oil Filter is a direct replacement for the stock oil filter, offering superior filtration efficiency. Designed for enhanced durability, it features a bypass valve that opens 10 PSI higher than a stock filter, ensuring optimal performance under high-pressure conditions. This advanced filter is essential for maintaining a cleaner engine by capturing contaminants more effectively.

      Construction and Appearance. This oil filter is built with 900 square inches of premium composite filtration media, providing a 150% increase over the stock filter. A perforated metal core and spiral-wrapped adhesive secure the filtration media, ensuring maximum integrity. It includes a high-power internal Neodymium magnet to trap fine metallic particles, a reinforced silicone anti-drain-back valve for unidirectional flow, and a TorqueStop feature for a reliable seal. The robust construction withstands up to 450 PSI maximum burst pressure.

      Installation. The installation of this oil filter is moderately easy and does not require specialized tools. It features a 3/16-16 UNF threaded baseplate with 47% larger passages, allowing for improved oil flow and straightforward replacement.
