It’s for this reason that you should upgrade to the PowerStop Z36 Extreme Truck and Tow 8-Lug Front and Rear Brake and Pad Kit. This kit comes with a set of robust rotors and a set of high-tech Z36 brake pads. These rotors and pads work together to provide your truck with the stopping power needed for safer hauling and towing. Moreover, this kit allows you to run larger wheel and tire combos without worrying about compromising braking performance.
Heavy-Duty Cast Iron Vented Rotors. The rotors that come with this kit are cast to a vented design using premium iron, making them extremely sturdy and resistant to heat. Additionally, these rotors are precision-machined, achieving complete balance and ensuring consistent braking and even pad wear. Lastly, these rotors receive a heavy-duty zinc finish for maximum rust protection and sleek looks.
Cross-Drilled, Vented and Slotted Rotor Form. To further ensure superior stopping power, these brake rotors are cross-drilled and receive directional slottings. More to the point, the cross drillings work in tandem with the rotors’ vented design to quickly cool them down, preventing fade. Meanwhile, the directional slots remove moisture, debris, and gas, ensuring excellent pad-to-rotor contact for a superior bite.
Specialized Z36 Carbon-Fiber Ceramic Brake Pads. This kit’s brake pad component features the high-tech Z36 brake pads. These brake pads offer exceptional performance courtesy of a specialized carbon-fiber-reinforced ceramic friction compound. This braking compound is designed to provide maximum bite even through rapid brake cycling with fewer chances of fading.
Reduced Dust and Noise. The brake pads’ carbon-fiber ceramic compound also produces virtually no dust. What this means is cleaner wheels and less time spent in the car wash. Additionally, these pads come with OE chamfered and slotted design, This design, when combined with their stainless steel shims, produces less noise for relaxing ride quality.
Uncomplicated Install Procedure. Installing this brake rotor and pad kit is a fairly uncomplicated procedure as this kit will not require additional modifications to your braking system. Also, installation requires just standard hand tools and a bottle or two of DOT 3 or 4 brake fluid. You will also need a packet of high-temperature brake pad lubricant for installation.
Complete Front and Rear Kit.
