Description
Impressive OEM Replacement. The PowerStop OE Replacement 8-Lug Front and Rear Brake Rotor and Pad Kit is the ideal rotor and pad kit that will enhance braking power without breaking the bank. This pad and rotor kit provides your RAM 2500 a complete set of OE-style rotors and pads, ensuring an efficient install. Moreover, these rotors and pads feature engineered improvements meant to make your truck brake faster, keeping you safe on the road.
Wear-Resistant Cast Iron Rotors. This kit’s rotors get their exceptional strength from their premium cast iron construction, which also makes them highly resistant to warpage due to heat. The iron is then precision-cast before getting machined and mill-balanced, providing superior braking feel and more even pad wear. What’s more, these rotors are available in a natural finish for an OE look.
Vented Rotor Configuration. The included rotors offer a definite performance upgrade courtesy of their vented configuration. Specifically, these rotors feature internal vents designed to more efficiently cool down the brakes, reducing the likelihood of fade. Additionally, these components’ rotor smooth rotor face is also extremely flat, maximizing brake pad contact for an ideal bite.
Specialty Z17 Ceramic Brake Pads. This kit’s included pads are the Z17 brake pads. These brake pads employ a specially formulated ceramic braking compound that’s highly resistant to heat. This factor offers consistent and reliable braking, particularly when compared to stock.
Decreased Dust and Noise. Another area where the pads’ ceramic braking compound offers a definite upgrade over stock is their decreased dust design. In particular, these pads create extremely low levels of brake dust, greatly minimizing the need for regular wheel cleaning. Also, these pads have an OE chamfered and slotted style as well as twin layers of rubberized shims. These factors work together to minimize noise, offering a more relaxing ride quality.
Practical Install Procedure. Installing this kit is a relatively practical procedure since the brake rotors and pads use factory locations on your RAM as their mounting points. No extra modifications to your vehicle are needed. Also, installation requires just standard hand tools to complete as well as a bottle or two of DOT 3 or 4 brake fluid and high-temperature brake pad lubricant.

These are the loudest brakes in my city. I almost don’t want to drive my truck because of how loud these brakes are. Definitely not buying again.

3rd Gen Change out
Our order arrived with broken/torn boxes and missing parts, so our 1-day project was delayed until the missing parts arrived. Once received everything went on as planned for the project. Our front caliper bolts were 'frozen so that took some heat, muscle and time to remove them. We did do the recommended 'break in process and everything seems to be in working order. We are happy with the products, and we will see how they perform over time.
