Featuring PowerStop’s Evolution rotors and Z23 brake pads, this kit is ideal for a balance of more stopping power and smooth braking action. This kit is a great match whether your driving style is more casual or more dynamic and sporty.
Heavy-Duty G3000-Grade Cast Iron Rotors. To give you enhanced braking performance, PowerStop used G3000-grade cast iron for these Evolution rotors. Not only are they extra-tough, they’re also 100% mill-balanced. This just means that they will have a factory-like fit, less pedal vibrations, and reduced noises like squeals and creaks. These rotors are also plated with silver zinc dichromate for enhanced resistance against corrosion.
One-Piece Rotors With Slots, Vents, and Holes. PowerStop designed these rotors with cross-drilled holes, which “drain” the brake dust, gases, and water away from the surface. This allows the brake pads to have a stronger grip on the contact patch. On the other hand, the vents and rounded slots keep the operating temperatures down to ensure consistent performance and prevent fading.
Carbon Fiber-Ceramic Brake Pads. Z23 series brake pads are made from a special carbon fiber-ceramic compound to ensure their durability and uniform friction output. Moreover, the hybrid material makes them more heat-resistant and thermally stable. Lastly, for even longer-lasting durability and corrosion protection, the brake pad backing plates are given a powder-coat finish.
Produces Minimal Noise and Dust. PowerStop wants you to have an enhanced driving experience, which is why they designed these brake pads to operate as quietly as possible. They added rubberized shims and chamfered the surface, which help cushion and insulate against noise. These brake pads also produce less brake dust. This results in a stronger pad bite and less maintenance for your wheels and tires.
Easy Installation for Upgrades and/or Replacements. You can use this front brake kit to upgrade existing components or to replace damaged parts. The necessary equipment for an approximately 2-hour installation are jack stands and a few simple hand tools.
