It takes two
While the lights are fabulous and easy to install, it does require two people. When drilling through the steel roof line, you need someone in the cab underneath with a cup to catch all the metal shavings. They go everywhere if you don’t. That intern creates a big mess that you have to clean up. Other than that, they were simple to install, they look great, and function like a pro. I would highly recommend them. They really improve the look of your truck at night.

Interesting
This is the second truck that I have had a light strip on. The first one was definitely a newer concept. It was just a flat strip. This one is cool that the lights stick out away from the strip. I would think that would make the lights brighter however they are not. I chose this strip due to it having amber turn lights. They are only about a foot wide though which I’m not sure about yet. It needs a constant hot wire for it to work properly. I’m not sure why but it wouldn’t work without it. It’s a universal fit. What I have found out about universal fit products is that you will need to make it fit. All in all the jury is still out. The only thing that will make this a worthwhile investment is if it lasts a long time. So we’ll have to wait and see.

Good
Good easy install. Hardest part was removing head liner. One light only has 2 bars lighting and others has 3. Hope American truck can help.me out with replacement bulb. Shipped quick, refunded wrong order quickly also. Very satisfied. I have 2016 F250.

Does the job
I ordered these lights for my 03 GMC thought they were led but were standard 194 amber bulbs, that’s on me. The 194 amber bulbs and sockets do not fit the greatest and have had some connection issues but once I got them seated they seem to be ok. Because the lights are a black smoke design the lights are not as bright as I would have liked but look ok. I may upgrade to led cab lights in the future.
