      Description

      Keep Transmission Fluid Cool. Your vehicle’s transmission will generate a lot of heat when transmitting torque from the engine to the wheels. If the heat isn’t dispelled, the transmission will be in trouble. Mishimoto’s Thermal Bypass Valve Kit will step in when the transmission fluid gets to a specific temperature. It allows the hot transmission fluid to come out and go up to the cooler to be cooled down and then back to the transmission. So, if you’re looking for a fail-proof thermostatic bypass valve to keep your transmission cooler, Mishimoto has your back.

      Better Than Factory Unit. This bypass valve kit has been constructed to work better than the stock part. It is CNC-machined with billet aluminum for long-lasting service. The kit includes a completely serviceable thermostat designed for quick warm-up in cold climates and a thermostat bypass for continuous cooling in hot climates.

      Easy Installation. Mishimoto has designed this unit for a fail-proof install. It lets you know precisely how to position it through labeled arrows pointing to the transmission or cooler. It replaces the stock unit by bolting onto the existing hardware.

      Lifetime Warranty. Mishimoto is confident that its thermal valve will be free of material or workmanship defects for its lifetime. Otherwise, they may repair or replace it. The warranty covers the original owner and is not transferrable.

      Application. This RAM 2500 Thermal Bypass Valve Kit has been engineered to fit RAM 2500 models built between 2013-2018. Mishimoto does not recommend installation on vehicles in colder climates to avoid overcooling the transmission fluid.

      Installation Difficulty. Installation requires no mechanical skills, and almost anyone can complete it in under 1 hour.
