      Description

      Superior Turbocharger Performance. The MBRP 3-Inch Installer Series Turbo Downpipe is the downpipe upgrade designed to offer exceptional turbocharger performance. This is achieved by combining 3-inch wide plumbing with a free-flowing design to boost exhaust gas velocity. This increased velocity spools your turbocharger fast to upgrade power and torque. This upgrade in performance will certainly give you the edge both on the trail or the track.

      Audacious New Sound. Besides upgrading your Sierra's performance, this MBRP turbo downpipe also upgrades your exhaust note by adding a low-end growl. This low-end, when combined with the turbocharger’s distinctive hiss, gives you a sound that’s as audacious as your new performance capabilities.

      Reduced Heat. This turbo downpipe is also pre-equipped with an effective heat wrap. This heat wrap works to hold in the heat coming from the exhaust gas to create even higher exhaust velocity, which in turn reduces turbo lag. Moreover, this wrap helps keep exposure to engine bay heat relatively low, potentially preventing damage to more sensitive electronics.

      Rugged Build Quality. This turbo downpipe is made from high-grade aluminized steel, providing optimum durability and improved corrosion resistance. What’s more, this component is fully mandrel-bent creating a turbulence-free inner structure that will significantly outflow the factory downpipe. Finally, this turbocharger downpipe receives a high-temperature black coating, further improving heat insulation.

      Efficient Install Procedure. This MBRP turbo downpipe utilizes your truck’s factory counterpart’s location as its mounting area. No modifications to your vehicle are necessary. Additionally, installation is completed using just standard hand tools and the included hardware.

      ECU Re-Tune Recommended. This turbo downpipe’s less restrictive design means a greater volume of exhaust gas is delivered to your turbocharger. This factor may change how your ECU reads airflow, resulting in a check engine light that can only be removed via an ECU re-tune. An ECU re-tune will optimize your truck’s performance to your new downpipe.
