Description
Free-Breathing HEMI. This cold air intake allows for denser, more oxygen-rich air to be forced into your engine's combustion chambers, giving more complete combustion, which gives more torque and power, a throatier exhaust note, and improved fuel mileage. K&N Dyno testing before and after the addition of this kit resulted in more than 8 additional horsepower and foot-pounds of torque at the rear wheels when tested on a 2004 Dodge RAM.
Filtration is Key. The air filter is a high-flow large diameter conical cotton part critical to a successful cold air intake. When fresh air is drawn into the engine, it includes more moisture and debris than air drawn from within the engine bay. Therefore, K&N uses washable filters to protect your engine to prevent costly damage.
K&N: Industry-Leading Performance. This K&N Series 77 High Flow Performance Cold Air Intake kit replaces the restrictive OEM intake and replaces it with a mandrel-bent polished aluminum intake tube to increase the volume of airflow to your engine. The custom heat shield keeps the incoming air protected from the heat of the engine bay, and the entire system can typically be installed in less than 90 minutes. This kit retains the OEM air temperature sensor and crankcase ventilation tube.
Made in the USA. An increase in power is guaranteed, and the kit also comes with a 10-Year, Million-Mile warranty from K&N. Cleaning the filter is necessary every 100,000 miles under normal driving conditions.
Application. This K&N 77 Series Cold Air Intake kit fits all 2003-2008 Dodge RAM 2500 models fitted with the 5.7L HEMI engine. This kit may not fit lifted trucks.

Great cold air intake
Unfortunately i live in Commiefornia so i was forced into getting a CARB legal intake and this is one of the few that is. Install was easy enough, if you know your way around a tool box you'll be fine. It did make a big difference at WOT you can actually hear the motor now all in all great purchase.

Had a big ole factory filter in it, replaced it with a K&N air filter. Won't go back to factory filter...ever. K&N offers a life time warranty. Great filter, good price
