However, AmericanTrucks recommends performing custom tuning to take full advantage of this air intake’s power-boosting features.

      Premium-Level Air Filter. The air filter included in this cold air intake is an oiled cotton filter. It features a large, conical design that effectively captures microparticles without compromising airflow. Additionally, its design only requires maintenance after 100,000 miles of normal highway driving conditions.

      Enclosed Air Box. For extra protection, this Cold Air Intake features an enclosed air box that is designed to protect the air filter from the heat that the engine bay produces. It is made of highly durable material for lasting and reliable performance.

      High-Quality Intake Tube. This Cold Air Intake features a roto-molded HDPE intake tube for maximum durability. Apart from that, this heat-resistant intake tube’s construction helps increase the airflow to your engine for improved power and performance.
