Description. As many have already found out the hard way, the cheap plastic Ford, GM or Dorman coolant outlets for the heater core are prone to breaking at the worst possible times. Don't risk ruining your expensive motor due to a simple plastic coolant fitting failure ! Once the plastic outlet breaks (and it WILL break), you have about 1 minute to pull over, stop the motor, and start walking. If you happen to be towing, up a steep grade, you probably have about 30 seconds before you turn your V8 motor into a paper weight. Your coolant system is only as strong as its weakest link, and this plastic outlet has proven itself to be a one of the weakest links !

GruvenParts billet heater core outlets solve this problem entirely. These are precision CNC machined from 6061-T651 aircraft grade aluminum in our high tech Atlanta machining center. Each outlet includes a short piece of HPS high performance silicone hose as well as 2 high quality stainless steel clamps. The billet outlet is installed using the supplied silicone hose and clamps and fits over the existing factory hard line connection from the heater core with no modifications needed.
