Two-In-One Hitch Device. The Fishbone Offroad 2-Inch Receiver Hitch Mounted Step and Skid Plate is the unique hitch device that offers practical two-in-one skid plate and step functions. Specifically, this device features a high-traction stepping surface that rests about 2 inches above the hitch, allowing easy access into your truck bed. Likewise, its heavy-grade all-steel construction and angled design provide your rear bumper excellent protection when driving up a steep gradient. Moreover, this component adds a rugged style accent to your rear end that’s sure to turn heads.
Heavy-Grade Build Quality. The hitch-mounted step and skid plate get their strength from its heavy-grade plate steel construction. The steel is then machine-formed and fully welded for maximum rigidity and a precise fit when installed. The step area then receives laser-cut slots that help with traction while its face gets a Fishbone logo for extra style. Lastly, this component is finished in a chip-resistant textured black powder coating for rugged good looks and superior corrosion protection.
Easy Install Procedure. Installing this hitch-mounted step and skid plate is a total breeze as it is designed to insert into your truck’s 2-inch hitch receive just like any other hitch accessory. Securing the device is just as easy – simply use any standard hitch pin (sold separately.)
