Description
Exceptional Suspension Upgrade. Boost your Super Duty’s off-road performance by using the Fabtech 8-Inch Radius Arm Lift System with Performance Shocks and Rear Leaf Springs. This performance suspension lift package consists of high-quality components, such as the Fabtech radius arm, twin-tube performance shocks, coil springs, rear leaf springs and U-bolt kit, and Pitman arm to deliver enhanced off-road driveability on various terrains.
Performance Shocks. Fabtech Performance Shocks feature a twin-tube, hydraulic construction with high-velocity, 9-stage valving for enhanced damping capacity. Each shock has a hardened chrome piston rod and a closed-cell, foam insert that reduces shock fade at high speeds. In addition, the outer tube acts as a reservoir for displaced fluid from the shaft volume during the compression stroke. This overall design provides significantly smoother drives on rugged terrains, while maintaining excellent traction.
Front Coil Springs and Rear Leaf Springs. The highly durable and well-designed coil springs offer better suspension control. The black, powder-coated finish provides excellent corrosion resistance with extra visual appeal. Additionally, the rear leaf springs facilitate proper axle alignment, while offering extra support to the vehicle load.
Fabtech Radius Arms and Pitman Arm. Fabtech boasts of CNC-engineered components to ensure that you can successfully and skillfully maneuver your Super Duty with optimum articulation. The tubular radius arms feature Fabtech’s proprietary 5-ton joint on the pivot side and adjustable alignment cams on the axle. The dimple die side plates provide additional rigidity to the radius arms for more stable operations. Moreover, the Pitman arm, which is crafted using forged steel maintains proper steering geometry.
Installation. This 8-Inch Radius Arm Lift System is designed for a bolt-on installation. Its components directly attach to your vehicle’s mounting locations by means of the installation hardware provided. The entire kit installs in approximately a day with mechanical expertise required.
Warranties. A limited lifetime warranty is offered by Fabtech for this 8-Inch Radius Arm Lift System against factory defects in workmanship and materials. Should this warranty be claimed within the first 5-year or 60,000-mile period of the vehicle, the Five Sixty Powertrain Warranty program will come into effect. Some exclusions are indicated in the manufacturer’s warranty guide; please check the terms and conditions for full details.
