Note: Some circuits are programmed from the factory on a specific duty cycle that may result in lower voltage output than 12v in certain situations. For example, the DRL circuit may run at a lower duty cycle depending on ambient light outside. Depending on the type of accessory you are powering, this can cause issues with brightness or function. The adapter provides access to the circuit, but functionality may vary.
