Wireless charging retrofit
Doesn't work. Cheaply made junk. Don't buy. Use a charging cord instead, at least they work.

2015 XLT
This is not a ‘difficult’ install. Many vids available for removing your factory radio. The tricky part is getting the connection off the back of the display module. There’s a push button (into the pin) and a lever that swings down and allows extraction. Searched many videos for that tidbit. The unit is labeled RCC357, but you will find instructions at ARC12Volt.com under techdocuments. DIP pins for adding a front camera w/factory backup cam are 00010011. Follow the MFMULTICAM install instructions. The power for the camera I installed was very near the cam (6’). So I ran a dual 18ga wire to the T-harness-infiltrating the firewall at the steering column gasket. Follow the RCA connections carefully and connect your new camera to the “aux cam input” (no trigger required). After everything was connected properly and carefully it works like a charm. The new T-harness fits neatly behind the 4” color display. I have a Sync 1 (I know right!?) and it cannot be upgraded w/o spending well above my budget. Plus, I don’t have a problem with my original radio/features. I just wanted a forward camera. Reverse cam works like factory. To activate the forward cam you press and hold the “OK” button for 3-5 secs. If all is quiet in the truck you’ll hear a little ‘click’ as the forward cam engages. And..viola! I had forgotten to properly crimp a ground wire and was having gremlins during the install. But that’s another novella. After 2 days of finding and fixing my mistake it works like a charm.
