Description
Superior Performance in an OE Style. If you’re looking to replace your damaged or worn-out rear shock absorber the Bilstein B6 4600 Series Rear Shock is the one to get. This rear shock features an OE design, offering an easy fit and clean finish. More importantly, this shock combines a monotube gas-charged style with exclusive velocity-sensitive digressive valving technology. These factors provide your truck with quicker damping response and precise handling performance on the trails and a firm but smooth ride quality on the highway. What this means is you can take your truck out on an off-road adventure straight from your daily errands.
Durable Build Quality. This front damper’s shock body starts as premium tubular steel before getting machined to its final 2-diameter size. This construction provides offers exceptional durability and ideal heat dissipation, both of which ensure reliable performance. The piston rod for its part is made from chrome-hardened alloy, making it strong enough for regular off-roading. Similarly, this component utilizes high-quality neoprene rubber bushings designed to reduce vibrations for an even smoother ride. Meanwhile, a rugged blue poly dust boot keeps the seal protected against debris. Lastly, this shock assembly is finished with a wear-resistant yellow powder coating, giving it a distinct style.
No Frills Install Procedure. This front shock is designed to replace your factory counterpart without the need for extra drilling in most applications. Moreover, installation requires just standard hand tools to complete.

Great Value
I use these in my service trucks. We have a standard service body and ladder rack so we do a 2" inch lift using Carli coil springs and then pair them with the 5100s. Ride quality is very good, handling equally good. I like these Bilsteins especially when carrying a load. They do very well under stress.

Hard to go wrong with Bilstein
I bought these reservoir shocks for the rear of my 2500 because I want the extra oil capacity because I tow a 6000 lb off-road trailer off-grid. So figured rear shocks would get more of a workout when on extended runs on AZ's rocky trails. So far, so good. Rear of truck is more controlled under acceleration and the truck doesn't hop around when hitting bumps on the street. Ride quality is improved though it is still stiff. After all, it's a 2500. Build quality is great as it is with Bilstein products. Recommend.
