Incredible Wake Up of an old 5.4L V8
I went into this with low expectations, I had already replaced the old air intake with a new K&N CAI and today I installed the new BBL Throttle Body. If it is possible, my truck has too much power today. The throttle response is nothing short of incredible. Letting your foot off the brake will make the rear tires bark. On a flat open parking lot, with no acceleration, my F150 was up to 42 MPH. On the Interstate, I cruised at 65 MPH and punched the accelerator in an open spot, and the acceleration will sit you back in your seat. This new TB and CAI upgrade has awoken the Beast inside my truck. It looks like it is now time for a performance Tune and a new CAT back Flowmaster exhaust. The truck already sounds incredible with the increased airflow. To say I am happy with this purchase would be an understatement.

I have made my truck RIP! I love this larger throttle body, along with larger intercoler, cold air intake, exhaust, electronic blowoff valve, and 5 star tune my truck is a beast! I can hang at the track with some built up cars!

I ordered this because the TBI on my 99 Silverado was starting to give problems. Wasn't crazy about shelling out $400 for a new one but the only other choice was a used one off eBay (thanks but no thanks). Ordered it 3/15 and woke up to an email stating it was out for delivery 3/16. Upon opening the package I was impressed by how it looked. Everything needed to install was included. Installation is pretty straightforward, just make sure you use the spacer that is included. After swapping the TPS and IAC sensors over, I hooked everything up, crossed my fingers and hit the key. Before with the old TBI, when the truck first fired up, engine would rev up to 2K rpm and stay there for several seconds, when idling thru a parking lot it would also idle up to 1K rpm. Now with the new TBI none of those issues and its been keeping a constant 650-700 rpm. There is a noticeable difference in throttle response as well. Overall I am pretty happy, and will be overly happy when my CEL doesnt come on for high idle again.

Excellent upgrade
Easy installation on my 07 ram 1500 and the throttle response is amazing. Paired with my afe intake it's a really noticeable difference. I did have to add small washers to the bottom 2 bolts to keep from hitting the back of the intake manifold. Without the washers it won't seal correctly. Overall I'm very pleased.
