Description

With the Armordillo AR Pre-Runner Grille Guard in Matte Black, you can rest easy knowing that the front end of your RAM is secured from debris, tree branches, and minor impacts. Your grille and headlights are well-protected by this pre-runner guard. Its modular construction allows rapid removal of the headlight area for maintenance or troubleshooting. Additionally, it has pre-drilled holes for added lighting if you are aiming for more visibility and illumination.
Durable and Reliable. This pre-runner guard is constructed from ultra-strong A36 steel and has been primed with e-coating for corrosion resistance. Afterward, the whole assembly underwent a triple-stage of matte black powder coating for superior corrosion protection.
Installation. Putting this Pre-Runner Grille Guard on your ride is easy and requires no drilling.
Warranty. There is a limited 1-year warranty for this product.

NOT ROADKILL ARMORDILLO!
This was an interesting project. We used mostly ½" drive sockets and wrenches plus some ratchet box end wrenches. These were the sizes if I remember correctly; 13mm, 17mm, 18mm, 19mm, 20mm, and 24mm. Some deep well sockets some flat sockets. All impact wrench rated. Which was good as we need them. My son and I did this over the course of a day. Stopping once for about an hour to go to harbor freight and lunch. Im not gonna lie, the included instructions suck. I'm not stupid by any means nor is my son and it was at times difficult to understand just what they were saying. The included photos might have been helpful if they weren't in black and white, or if the piece you were installing was highlighted with a different color. Anyway, if you're handy with your hands and know how to use the tools needed, you should have no problem installing this. If you have big hands you'll want someone helping with small hands. At least on a RAM with the Cummins. If you have a camera on the front, (my 2500 has the camera directly under the "A" in RAM) it might partially block the view to the front, mine does and it is but i can still see more than enough and the 360 view still shows up, just slightly different. So if you're on the fence with this one and don't want to be disappointed, I think you'll only be disappointed if you don't go for it!

Great product, terrible instructions.
This bumper guard is great, fits my 2023 Ranger perfect and is a definite needed upgrade, unfortunately the install instructions and images was garbage, struggle a few times to understand how to install the inner brackets.

Decent guard for the price I guess
Got a discount, so I bought it. The previous reviewers were correct, the instructions included were basically junk. You can't tell at all what the important pictures are showing. Had to modify the support brackets to make it work on my 2019 Ford F-150, even though it was supposed to just bolt on. There are different styles of bumpers apparently, I see that now looking at other customer pictures. Most of those figured out a different way of mounting the supports as well. Seriously, are they saving that much money showing the pictures that small in the instructions?!?! Good thing I have tools to make modifications. I will say it's a good looking guard. Hope it holds up if it has to take a good hit. Taking off the tow hooks was the worst part of the whole install.

looks good/seems solid
Easier to take off front bumper to access tow hooks and install. Uninstalled drivers side tow hook and installed bracket with bumper on following directions Pain in the ass! Took bumper completely off to do other side and finished install. Lickety-split Would of went quicker starting with bumper off. I would like to weld it together but decided to wait to see what the next deer does to it first. So far so good

Recently installed my Armordillo grill guard. It was a fairly easy install but did have to drop bumper down to get mounting brackets in place. Looks great and it certainly deters people from cutting you off!
