      All the parts feel and look well made, only issue I had was I was missing a part and had to wait a few days for them to send it, but hey, it happens to the best of us. Once it was installed my truck was definitely able to breathe deeper and more efficiently.

      Far Better Than I Expected! Seriously!!

      I had recently installed new stock exhaust manifolds and went with a new MagnaFlow 2 into 1 into 2 exhaust set up. I was looking for that lower tone resonant rumble/roar type sound from the exhaust and the guys at Pops nailed it. I had tried the K&N filter in the stock air box and didn’t really notice any difference in throttle response feel. Did a bit of research and decided on the more expensive Airaid MXP unit because every design intention such as the air collection snout running right into the fender well area away from the engine air and the snug fit against the hood just made complete sense. BOY am I glad I spent the extra money on this MXP unit!! The installation was VERY easy and everything needed to pop this unit into the engine bay was right in the box (aside from the tools obviously). The instructions were clear enough, but for dingalings like me it would be nice to mention that you do not remove the ENTIRE stock air box bracket, lol (such an idiot, lol. Took the whole bracket off and had to reinstall the damn thing). Every part needed was in there, but I would add one more hose clamp to make two for the throttle body connection. I was NOT expecting the performance difference I experienced after installation. Wow. Now, I keep my 4.7L perfectly tuned up at all times and run full synthetic as well as keeping the cooling system clean and flushed pretty regularly so the thing runs like it was new. I also do a regular carbon clean out and all of this PM has that engine literally free of almost ANY vibration at idle. It’s fully stock. The throttle response at tip in after installation was NOTICEABLY instantaneous and it pulled hard right up through every gear shift. I was TOTALLY surprised by that and thoroughly impressed. The second unexpected gift was a huge deepening of the resonant tone coming out of that MagnaFlow exhaust set up. I constantly get compliments on how this truck sounds and from the drivers seat it sound terrific after that change with no annoying droning in the cab at all. Just nice barks and roars. Love it. I was curious if there was any help to the MPGs and to my surprise, on two 100 mile trips where I kept my lead foot in check (not easy with that great tone, lol), I actually experienced an average 2.2mpg increase on the highway!! From what I understand that is not common, but after the first trip measuring, I had to confirm what I saw and it was exactly the same result. Very nice. Lastly, the build and material quality of this MXP unit is exceptional. The material quality alone gives assurance that it was money well spent and with that performance uptick I am totally satisfied that I spent that extra cash. For a Dodge Ram 1500 4X4 with a 4.7, I HIGHLY recommend this Airaid MXP unit, no doubt.

      Nice performance upgrade.

      Great product, definitely noticeable gain in horsepower and throttle response. Install was very easy, didn’t need the directions but still read through them and were decent. If needed they would have been good. I would definitely recommend this intake to friends or whoever may be looking for one.

      sounds great

      i purchace this to help with the MPGs. it has increase about 3-7. The truck now has a much deeper tone. I am conststantly getting compliments on the sound plus it looks amazing under the hood

      Easy to install, not sure about performance gain but changed the how the truck sounds when heavy on the gas. Did not understand the "Cold Air" theory when the air going in is from under the hood

      Bought the CAI. A few things were off. 1- air scoop to be re-installed still does not line up and is loose. 2- gasket that wraps at the top still comes off. I would pay the extra money and buy KandN
