The factory oil pan for Duramax diesel trucks leaves over 1/2 of a quart of residual oil during every oil change due to a high mounted drain plug. Not only do aFe Power's new Duramax oil pans eliminate this issue by lowering the drain plug, their specialized design also allows for approximately 2 quarts more oil capacity.
