No ECU Tuning Required. You do not need to re-tune ECU to enjoy the benefits of the AFE Momentum HD Black Cold Air Intake. However, an ECU re-tune down the line can always maximize the performance of your truck.
Pro 10R Oiled Air Filter Included. The AFE Momentum HD Black Cold Air Intake includes the high-performance Pro 10R oiled air filter. This air filter features 10 layers of progressively finer cotton filter media as well as a larger surface. These two factors combine to provide 99.47% efficiency as well as maximum air flow. Additionally, this air filter is easy to maintain using the proper filter restoration kit.
Sturdy Build Quality. The AFE Momentum HD Black Cold Air Intake With Pro 10R Oiled Filter features a housing and intake tubes constructed from superior-grade polyethylene. Both components are formed using a specialized roto-molding technique. This technique produces a one-piece housing that protects the filter from engine bay heat, and an inlet tube that’s completely streamlined both inside and out. Additionally, the housing features a transparent sight window enabling efficient monitoring of the filter’s condition without removal.
Straightforward Install Procedure. The AFE Momentum HD Black Cold Air Intake With Pro 10R Oiled Filter is designed to mount into your truck’s factory air system location without modifications. Standard hand tools are all you need for installation, and all mounting hardware is included.
