AFE designed this Cold Air Intake to deliver additional 26 horsepower and exceptional 80 pound-feet of torque gains both for your daily drives and all-terrain adventures. It outflows the factory intake by 64% and facilitates better driveability as this Magnum FORCE Cold Air Intake delivers a higher volume of cooler, denser air at a faster rate.
Calibration Not Required. AFE designed the Magnum FORCE Stage 2 Cold Air Intake to improve the performance of your Super Duty without the need to reprogram your computer. By utilizing the state-of-the-art computer-aided designs, this AFE Intake will increase power using the factory tune. Even though a re-tune is not required for operation, AmericanTrucks recommends a custom tune to reprogram your vehicle’s ECU to get the best possible performance from this intake.
Pro 5R Oiled Filter. This Stage 2 Cold Air Intake kit provides a cooler air charge with the help of the Pro 5R Air Filter featuring 5-layered, oiled, cotton gauze media with remarkable filtration capacity. It also features a pleated design, durable enough to endure multiple cleaning cycles. The conical configuration allows larger air volume and faster velocity to intensify the cooler air charge. This results in significant improvements in raw power and mileage performance.
Long-Lasting Functionality. Each of the Magnum FORCE Stage 2 Intake Kit component is built for high performance and improved longevity. AFE uses 18-gauge, powder-coated steel for its housing to effectively shield the air intake against the hotter air around the engine. The smooth bends of the high-strength aluminum intake tube is designed to facilitate continuous airflow. In addition, the 3-angle adaptor is used to speed up the airflow from the air filter for improved performance and throttle response.
Bolt-On Installation. AFE engineered this Magnum FORCE Stage 2 Cold Air Intake to fit into your Super Duty’s factory mounting locations with no drilling required. The installation can typically be completed using standard hand tools.
