Designed for GM 8.5” and GM8.6” rear axles with a 2.73 or higher gear ratio, they allow a full transfer of power to the tires while still disengaging when you encounter a turn. This allows you to concentrate on more important factors when driving, leaving the locker to engage when needed.

Solid Steel Construction. Crafted in the USA, this Yukon Gear Yukon Grizzly Locker features an 8620 steel outer case and forged 8620 steel internal components. The clutch teeth have a larger radius at the base than standard clutch teeth, helping to protect against breakage and improving strength. The internal components are all fitted by hand, allowing for faster, smoother engagement.

Installation. Installation of this part requires an advanced level of mechanical knowledge. Therefore, Yukon Gear recommends that installation of this Yukon Grizzly Locker is completed by a fully trained professional technician.

Warranty. Yukon Gear provides a 1-year limited warranty for this Grizzly Locker which guarantees that it is free from defects in its construction. Furthermore, the warranty covers the replacement cost of any collaterally damaged parts, up to a total value of $2,000.
