      Description

      When You Need Efficient Braking Power. When your Sierra’s factory brakes are not enough for you, it’s time to replace them with this Red Wilwood AERO6 Front Big Brake Kit with Slotted Rotors. Resistant to early wear and fatigue, this front big brake kit is engineered for efficient braking performance on and off the road. With high-quality components, you can be sure your Sierra can safely stop with a slight tap of the brake pedal.

      Includes AERO6 Calipers. Wilwood included AERO6 calipers with stainless steel pistons with this big brake kit. Featuring a 15-inch diameter, these calipers can meet the demands of various heavyweight braking requirements better than most aftermarket brands. To ensure long-lasting service, Wilwood crafted these calipers from aluminum alloy billet. Complementing this durable build is a red powder-coated finish formulated for advanced corrosion protection.

      GT 72 Curved Vane Slotted Rotors. Heavy-duty Spec-37 slotted rotors are included with this Wilwood AERO6 Front Big Brake Kit. Each rotor comes with Wilwood’s GT-series asymmetrical face slot pattern as well as individual dynamic balancing designed for smooth and responsive braking. Wilwood then applies a protective black E-coat finish that provides superior levels of all-weather corrosion protection.

      Available With BP-20 Brake Pads. To maintain the proper amount of friction for optimum stopping power, Wilwood uses Smartpad brake pads made from a high-performance BP-20 compound. BP-20 is known for producing less dust due to its moderate wear rate. In addition, these brake pads are designed for fast bedding for a superior braking response without the high rotor abrasion.

      No Stress Installation Process. Wilwood built this AERO6 Front Big Brake Kit for a stress-free installation process. Major modifications such as drilling and cutting are not necessary for installation. That said, the installation process will only work on cast iron spindles and not on aluminum ones.

      Brake Kit Contents. Wilwood’s AERO6 Front Big Brake Kit includes AERO6 6-piston calipers, high-grade BP-20 brake pads. In addition, all the installation hardware is included with this kit.

      Requires a Brake Line Kit. The OEM brake lines of your Sierra will not work with Wilwood’s calipers. The best way to complete the installation process is to use Wilwood’s brake line kit.

      Application. This Red Wilwood AERO6 Front Big Brake Kit with Slotted Rotors will fit all 1999-2018 GMC Sierra 1500 models.

      Application Note. This Wilwood AERO6 Front Big Brake Kit requires the use of a tire with a minimum diameter of 18 inches.
