      Description

      Heavy-Duty Braking Performance. This black Wilwood AERO4 Rear Big Brake Kit with Drilled & Slotted Rotors is perfect for enhancing your truck’s braking efficiency. The rotors come with fixed aluminum calipers, allowing the pads to produce quick and consistent friction from both sides. This means that when you step on the brakes, you’ll feel a more powerful yet smoother stopping action. Therefore, you can also use this brake kit for both high-performance and more casual driving applications.

      Premium-Grade Aluminum Calipers. To increase your Sierra’s braking power, Wilwood added 4-piston aluminum calipers in this big brake kit. The multi-piston design provides a stronger and more balanced clamping force on both sides of the rotor. This results in a stronger braking action that you actually feel. On the other hand, the hollow design of the calipers allows them to maintain a light weight. Lastly, the durable heat-resistant black finish on the calipers is guaranteed to last for years without cracking or fading.

      Heavy-Duty Spec 37 Carbon Iron Rotors. The rotors that come with this big brake kit are crafted using Spec 37 carbon iron. This is a proprietary iron allow formula that’s designed to resist extreme heat and regular wear and tear. In addition, the rotors have a two-piece design that lowers the overall weight. The rotors also have holes, slots, and vanes for a cleaner contact surface and enhanced heat dissipation. These result in a stronger grip of the brake pads and reduced instances of brake fade, respectively. Lastly, the rotors come with fixed-mount iron hats that add strength and boost durability.

      Metallic BP-10 Brake Pads. Wilwood included a complete set of brake pads in this big brake kit. These pads are made from BP-10, a metallic medium-friction compound that offers quick and high-performance braking. It also produces less dust and doesn’t cause too much wear on the rotors. These brake pads are ideal for light to medium braking, although it still offers a strong stopping action on performance-intensive situations.

      Direct-Fit Installation. This Wilwood brake kit is designed for a direct fit installation to replace or upgrade your truck’s brake rotors and calipers. The installation will take only a few hours. Wilwood recommends professional installation, although you can perform the installation yourself if you have the necessary tools. Afterward, make sure to perform the prescribed break-in procedure in the enclosed instruction manual.

      Rear Big Brake Upgrade Kit. This AERO4 series rear big brake kit comes with a complete set of 4-piston calipers, two-piece Spec 37 rotors, and rear pairs of brake pads. Wilwood also included all the necessary mounting hardware for a quick and easy installation.

      Application. This black Wilwood AERO4 Rear Big Brake Kit with Drilled & Slotted Rotors can be installed on 1999-2018 models of the GMC Sierra 1500.
