      Hey, guys. It's Sara with americantrucks.com and today, we have a review and install of the Proven Ground Soft Tri-Fold Tonneau Cover, fitting your '19 and newer Ram 1500 without the RamBox or multifunction tailgate. This is perfect for the Ram owner who's looking for a budget-friendly soft cover that folds away quickly and easily. This soft tri-fold tonneau cover will keep your bed covered and dry. And when you need access, folds away with ease. This tonneau features an aluminum frame with a black finish and a durable black vinyl top.So, one thing to note about this tonneau cover as with any soft cover, is that it's not gonna provide as much protection from theft as a hardcover would. It's not gonna pass the knife test. However, if you're looking for a budget-friendly and quick way to cover your bed, this is an excellent choice. So, as far as price goes, this one comes in at around $275, making it the most budget-friendly way to get a tonneau cover onto your Ram. I'm giving this install a one out of three wrenches on the difficulty meter. It features a simple clamp-on fastening system that can be installed within one hour. So, with that said, let's jump into our install.All right. So, the first step in our install is to grab the tonneau cover and set it on top of the bed. Make sure that it's lined up to the very front of the bulkhead, then we're gonna go underneath and clamp it down. All right. So, to clamp these down, you just grab this clamp, pull it down, and it's gonna line up with the edge of the bed. Now, you do have this amount of room to clamp the edge and it's not grabbing tight to our bed, so you can twist this whole assembly to tighten it up. Line up right here, loosen it, and then grab the edge of the bed. Do this until you have a nice tight grip of the edge and it holds the cover in place. Then we're gonna grab this safety strap, loosen it up so you can open up this clamp. And this opening here just grabs the edge of the bed. This is just an additional measure to ensure that the cover is nice and tight just in case the clamp comes loose. Now, let's repeat that on the other side. Now, at this point, you can unclip the cover, fold it out. Make sure it's still lining up with the bed of your truck and we'll clamp it down at the back.All right. So, once the tonneau cover is clamped down in the rear, you can shut the tailgate. And then that's gonna do it for the review and install of this tonneau.
