Rodrigo's Sweepstakes Story

This is the first truck I have ever owned. I got her back in September 2017 because the deal was to good to pass it up. She is a 2017 F150 XLT crew cab FX4. I bought an oil separator for it and entered the contest not ever expecting to win. Then a couple of months later I got an email saying I had won. To me it was looking very suspicious , and I almost deleted the email. But something told me to just check on it, so I made some calls and research and found out that I had really won. And even then I was still suspicious and in disbelief. So I went on made my build list and started looking for shop in DFW to do the work.  I  found J R customs and they did all the work. They didn’t believe my lucks first. To quote them they said “ people actually win those things”. So I scheduled the build and waited nervously and excited for my truck to be done.

The Build

Rod just about covered all the bases on his 2017 Ecoboost F-150! JR Customs in Irving, TX killed it with the installation of everything from the leveling kit, FOX Shocks, exterior styling, to the aggressive 18x9 Fuel wheels wrapped in Nitto Ridge Grappler tires! Check out the parts list below to build your F-150 like Rod’s.

Life After The Build

All I can say is wow she turned out so good and she became a beast.  They did such great work putting her together that people just love it and ask me about  her everywhere I go. The horse power has increased and  the wheels and tires just make a huge difference from stock. The rear suspension is great and the new lights make a huge difference at night.  The bull bar adds a great look to it with out making here look to over done. And of course the grill is just admired by everyone that sees it and is a source of discussion by all.  In all I am just so happy with the results that I just can’t help but smile every time I see her. I enjoy driving here and try not to push my lead foot to much.
