Male Speaker 1: If the stock halogen headlights in your 2017 through 2019 Super Duty just aren't cutting it in the looks or performance department, well, maybe it's time to consider an upgrade like the Black LED C-Bar Projectors that we're talking about here today. Now, these lights will feature a combination of the stealthy gloss black housing with a very lightly smoked lens along with the high and low beam projectors, and of course the diffused LED daytime running lights all for right around that low $600 price point for the pair. But what do you say we quickly run through some of the features here? And the first thing that you guys will notice is that these options are gonna replace your dated reflector style low and high beam housing with a much more modern projector. Now, not only does this just look a lot cooler, but it will also help improve your nighttime visibility, thanks to the slightly brighter, slightly more focused beam of light. Now, on that note, guys, I should mention that these lights do include brand new H9 halogen bulbs for both the high and low beams here. They are a complete turnkey package per se, but you do have the option to always supply on your own an LED H9 bulb for better output and visibility, especially when we're factoring in things like the lightly smoked lens. Again, you don't have to. These things are ready to rock and roll right out of the box, but always something to consider. Now, our next feature that we're gonna talk about here is really where that C-bar name comes from. As you guys can see, you're getting a diffused running light that's in that C-shape running the outside perimeter here of the headlight itself. Now, these running lights will illuminate whenever your parking lights or your headlights have been switched on, certainly help contribute to a more custom or modified look, especially when we're comparing these things to those kind of heinous chrome stock halogens. Now, last but not least, guys, my favorite part of these headlights, and that is the fact that that diffused LED running light will also actually serve as your turn signal as well, thanks to something called switchback technology. Now, that switchback tech will basically allow the white C-shape daytime running light to turn to amber and actually sequence while doing so whenever your turn signals are fired up. Big fan of that. I just, again, think it adds to the overall look of the truck, gives it a more quality look, and it is one of the big features here with these lights. Now, all of that lighting firepower has been built into this very durable piano or gloss black housing, which is then topped off and sealed up with that impact-resistant, lightly smoked polycarbonate lens. Now, these guys are also adjustable here, guys, so you can adjust them properly after the install or after you do some suspension work to your Super Duty down the road. And I always like to point out that they are backed by a one-year limited warranty just in case you should run into any issues. Now, your price point here for the C-Bar options will land you right around that $750 price point for the pair, which is, I would say, pretty much on par with other halogen projectors here on the site that do kick in some added LED accent lighting. Now, with that being said, if you did wanna step into a full LED option, we're talking LED accents plus LED high and low beams, well, then you will need to step into the $800 to $900 range at least for some of your more basic options, although you do have your higher quality options such as Morimoto, for instance, that are going to quickly eclipse the $1,500 to even $1,700 mark for the Gen 2 XB. So, just something to consider there when you're comparing some of your other options, again, on the site. I think you'll find these guys to be pretty much right where you'd wanna be price point-wise as far as not going with something that's gonna cost you over a thousand bucks, but still deliver a very similar look with the option to upgrade those halogen projectors to an LED projector on your own. You just gotta supply your own bulbs. All right, but now we wanna shift gears and show you what it takes to get these headlights installed on your Super Duty at home. Site's gonna call this one a very strong one out of three wrenches on the difficulty meter, at least an hour to complete from start to finish, maybe a little bit more depending on how fast you like to work. But to give you a better idea of just how things will go down on your Super Duty at home, let's throw it out to the guys in the shop right now for our detailed walkthrough and tool breakdown.Male Speaker 2: For this install you will need either an impact or a ratchet, an extension, a 10-mil socket, a flathead screwdriver or clip removal tool, some wire strippers and crimpers, and also not included with your kit but easily available to pick up is some T-taps and some male spade connectors. What's up, guys? Today we're gonna be doing some headlights on our F-250, but before we get started, we're gonna send you to watch a short video on how to uninstall your factory setup and we'll see you when you get back.Male Speaker 3: All right, guys. Now, obviously, before we can get our new headlights installed, we're gonna have to do some uninstall work here and get our old factory headlights out. To do that, we're gonna remove the radiator shroud as well as the grille cover here. So, let's go ahead and get started with that. All right, guys. Now, to get the radiator shroud off, we have a whole series of these locking pins here. And if you've never worked with these before, they're basically two pieces. You lift up the center piece that unlocks it and then you pull up on the base. All you need is a flathead screwdriver to do that. All right, guys. With all the pins removed, go ahead, and you're gonna have to pull out on the passenger side here a little bit to get this tab out from under, and then just lift it away. All right, guys. Next up, we're gonna remove about 8 of these bolts here using a 10-millimeter socket. Right now with those bolts out from the top, all we have holding our grille on is a series of locking tabs that kind of push into slots that are mounted on the frame behind it. So, all we're gonna need to do is grab onto the grille and give it a nice gentle but deliberate pull and we should be able to get our grille off.All right, guys, and we're gonna have a total of four 10-millimeter bolts we're gonna have to take out for each headlight, and we're gonna start at the bottom here. I'm kind of peeling down this rubber weatherstripping here. It's between our bumper and our fender. And I have a 10-millimeter socket on an extension. I'll take this out. All right, guys. Now we have two on the inside here, again, a 10-millimeter. All right, guys. Now we have the last one up on top here. All right. Now, the only thing holding in the headlight at this point now that we have those four bolts out is a little bit of a locking tab. Just kind of pull it out like that. I'm lifting it down kind of gently here. We're gonna unplug all of this before we pull our headlight away. We got a total of four harnesses that we're gonna unplug here.Male Speaker 2: What's up, guys? Welcome back. Now that we've shown you how to remove your factory lights, we're almost ready to go on with our new set. There's just one thing we have to do first. Now, your kit is gonna come with this little add-on plug here that's gonna tap into your factory harness that's gonna activate some of the features of your new headlight. Now, your kit does come with these inline taps that simply go over your factory harness and then you crimp this part in along with your factory wiring. Now, we already have some T-taps on our vehicle from previous installs, so we're gonna actually install some male spade connectors on this harness and go ahead and plug those into the T-taps, which essentially work the same way. But honestly, these are a little bit easier if you need to remove your headlights. You can just unplug them. You don't have to untap them and re-tap them and wear everything out. So, we're gonna go ahead and add those on now.So, while the style of spade connectors and T-taps that we have on our vehicle are not included with your kit, they are easily available to pick up at any local hardware store or auto parts store for a couple bucks for a nice pack. So, we're gonna go ahead and grab our wire strippers and crimpers. Gonna get a little bit more wire exposed on our harness here, cut that off. Same thing for this side. Then we can go ahead and add our male spade connectors. Go ahead and stick those in. And you notice they do come through the other side. You don't want them sticking too far, but if you can see the end, that's actually a good thing. We'll take our crimpers here. Go ahead and give these a good crimp. It's okay if they bend a little bit, that means you have a solid crimp. And then give them a little tug just to make sure everything's secure. We'll do the same thing for this one. And you can go ahead and do the same thing for your other adapter harness and then we're ready to go onto the truck. All right. So, first thing we're gonna do is plug our adapter harness into our T-taps, which as you can see we already have on our vehicle. Now, these again just wrap around the wire, crimp onto it, and latch down. So, we have one over our blue wire with our white stripe and our black wire with our yellow stripe. So, we're gonna put our black wire on the black wire with the yellow stripe. As you can see, that just plugs in. And our yellow one is gonna go to the blue wire. So, we've got that plugged in, now we can get our headlight on and plug everything in.So, now we can begin plugging everything in. So, our gray connector that looks like our marker light connector from the factory is gonna go in here. Make sure that snaps in. And we can get our little adapter harness plugged in here, followed by our turn signal connector right in here, make sure that's secure. And our low beam, and lastly, our high beam. We can go ahead and get this set into place. Make sure you're not pinching any wires. Go ahead and run that behind our fender for that lower mounting point. Tuck that in. Go ahead and get our little locator in the back lined up and get everything in place. Then we can go ahead and begin installing our hardware. So, to get this lower mounting screw in, again, it's kind of a bad spot, but I'm gonna get this washer tucked in behind the fender first. Kind of hold that in place. Then I'm gonna come in with my 10-mil socket and get that onto my screw here. And then go ahead and line it up with our mounting hole. Go ahead and get that tightened down. Now we can get our three upper mounting screws in. Again, with our 10-mil socket, we'll get this top one on. We'll get our two front ones in.So, then once you have this headlight in, you can go ahead and do the same thing for your other headlight, and we can get our grille back on and complete our install. So, now that we have both of our headlights on, it's time to go back on with our grille. So, we'll go ahead and line up our lower mounting tabs. Remember, those are just the push-in style. Then we'll line up our upper hardware mounting points, and then we're just gonna give this a solid push back into place on each side, lock that in, and we can reinstall all of our 10-millimeter bolts across the top. Now we'll go ahead and grab our 10-mil socket and run these back in. Now we'll go ahead and get our upper radiator shroud back in place. So, we'll get this little air ram under in here. Make sure you tuck it under your hood latch like so. And we'll tuck this underneath of our little secondary air thingy right here. Put that in place. Then we can go ahead and reinstall our pushpins. Those are just gonna pop right back into place. And we do have a few that are either broken or missing or lost to time. It does happen. All righty, guys, that about wraps up our review and install of our Switchback LED C-Bar Projector Headlights with Gloss Black Housings and Smoked Lenses for your '17 to '19 F-250 Super Duty with Factory Halogen Headlights. Thanks for watching, and as always for everything F-250, keep it right here at americantrucks.com.

Headlights
They are bright once you add leds to them even tho your dim and your brights are the same you will just have to raise the brights up to make them seem brighter.

Very Poor Light Output
The lights arrived very quickly and well packaged. Installation was easy and the product appeared to be well made. Once installed and activated the disappointment began. The C-Bar light is not as bright as other items observed on other vehicles and the projector light output is about the poorest I have seen much less purchased. I have already began the return process. Don't Waste your money!

Great! But
These headlights look awesome and we’re very easy to install! The one thing that is difficult about these headlights is that finding an led to fit inside the housing has been quite troublesome.

Blacking out my black ford- Nice
Love the look. Easy install. Headlights are a tad darker but the Light around it makes up the difference. I’ll probably switch out bulbs for LED ones in the near future.

Blinker issues
Love the look. Quick & easy install. Only complaint is that the blinker on the driver side does not work when engaged. Checked fuses, checked bulb, no solution so far. Planning to contact customer service for an answer.
