Description
New Look. A Putco Boss Mesh Upper Grille Insert with 10-Inch LED Light Bars transforms the front of your Super Duty from the somewhat boring factory model, into a modern machine. In addition to the style enhancement, this Grille Insert adds auxiliary lighting and some protection for your engine bay, which is not only armor, but can improve performance.
Construction and Appearance. This Boss Grille Insert is constructed from quarter-inch, CNC-machined aluminum, which is both lightweight and powerful. The mesh design is formidable and in black and the insert was made in the USA.
Lights. There are a pair of 10-inch light bars on the top of both sides for auxiliary illumination.
Installation. Putting this on your truck is not terribly difficult since needed hardware is provided.
Warranties. There is Putco's NeveRust lifetime warranty on the build of the grille insert and a 3-year warranty on the light bars.
Application. This Putco Boss Mesh Upper Grille Insert with 10-Inch LED Light Bars; Black fits 2017-2019 Ford F-250 models without a forward facing camera.

Easy Install / Looks Great!
Installation was super easy and it came out great. I love the way it looks. I didn't bend the drivers tab incase I wanted to revert back but it doesn't interfere with the Installation. You are just able to see some red which doesn't bother me. My only concern/gripe is the 2 christmas tree clips on the sides, I wish they was a little more "bite" to help hold the doublesided tape down. They pushed through the holes too easy.

Putco Grill
I am very pleased with the look and quality of the Putco grill. It took about two hours to install. The problem was pulling the lower bumper guard a loss (made of plastic, don't want to damage it). Don't understand why the Ford designer left that open, but the after market Putco grill is a nice look.

I installed this fairly quickly. Removal of the old lower grille plastics & license plate frame, and cleaning before install, were the most time consuming parts. I think I would prefer a few extra screw & clip fasteners, and may add my own if I see the need in the future. I found adding the license plate bracket underneath the grille insert to be a little cumbersome, but it still went together just fine. I also noticed the passenger's side push pin was a little loose after installed, but maybe my bumper is tweaked a little bit, because the right side fit rather snug. Overall I'm rather satisfied with the purchase, and the look it adds to my truck!

What an upgrade!!
I was involved in a slight fender bender “my fault alledgely” I rear ended a follow motorist. My damages calculated to be small dent just outside plastic middle of nice chrome bumper. The right side plastic insert mid section of bumper was toast. Looked for replacements and wasn’t satisfied with factory replacement. Went with billet with sleeker design made by Putco! What a difference, if you want to stand out here is a sure fire way to in your F150. No one else has one like mine in Michigan. Sets my truck apart from the rest of the herd! Super easy to install, four Phillips screws and 2 body panel clips all provide with part. Can even get with or without block heater cut out, which mine had. Allows a lot more air to get to my intercooler. Great buy great price

Looks nice!
The grille insert is a thin, laser-cut and bent piece of sheet metal, coated to prevent rust. It has some flexibility to it so it will conform to the slight curve of the lower bumper valance. Removal of the valance is needed and instructions, with photos, are provided (QR code to an online PDF) for doing that; with basic tools (10mm socket + small flathead screw driver & trim tool) it took me about 30 minutes [NOTE: avoid power tools, the vehicle parts are all plastic]. It fills in the gap in the lower bumper valance gives a great look!
