Description
Spectre air intake systems are designed to get more horsepower and torque from your vehicle while working to protect your engine from harmful debris. This air intake comes with a black Spectre reusable low restriction air filter, polished aluminum tubing and a black powder coated heat shield (where applicable) to help prevent engine air from entering the intake inlet. Spectre air intakes come with the necessary boots, clamps and hardware for an OE fit and finish.

More sound than power
Installed this on my stock 5.3 and though it gave a mild performance gain (maybe a little better acceleration and throttle response), the real difference is the growl under the hood! Big difference. Truck actually sounds like I have a mild exhaust system. Exhaust might have to be my next upgrade as I’m loving this new growl from my truck. Gas mileage is gonna go down as I can’t keep my foot out of it now lol.

Super simple install
I got one that had a couple of dings on the chrome tube but nothing major. It looks great and really opens the space under the hood. Make sure you have your inner fender lining in or it will suck up water when it rains.

Good bang for your buck
Performs and sounds great, especially with a cat-back exhaust. Only gripe I have is the hose clamps it comes with. Not terrible but did have one that got a little loose and when I tried to tighten it would just click and then broke. However, easy and cheap fix with a stainless clamp at Lowe’s

Good for money
Was looking into a corsa intake for 370$ and then ended up going with the spectre and i am really impressed. I noticed the touchiness it gives the truck and almost feels like it gives it more torque. Good growl sound under the hood when you romp on it. 10/10
